The on campus options in this vein tended to boil down to either subway or deep fried junk. The exceptions however being the culinary art student run restaurant and bakery which were open now and again. The school is a community college but despite that it actually has as many connections as the larger schools.

In addition, the book examines the effects of service learning and positive outcomes for children and teacher educators as well. Schools today face an increasing number of language learners, the mainstreaming of special population students, and working with a standards-driven curriculum.
